Swooning Over: The Lomokino

I’m completely swooning over my new toy.  The Lomokino. I have a big love for all that is Lomo.  In the last year while I’ve been saving up for a big overhaul in my digital gear (finally moving beyond my really old but well loved Canon Rebel ) I’ve had to put my Lomo obsessions at bay.

As soon as I saw the Lomokino and what it can create…I knew I was going to obsess about this one until I got it.  So dreamy.

I also have a fridge full of film.  Not literally, but pretty close.  One entire shelf (and much of the space in the door) is filled with my remaining polaroid film and bins of 35mm film.  I bought a whole pile of 35mm film off a friend a year back and really haven’t done much with it, so my master plan with this new Lomokino is to make all sorts of little movies with this expired film and this little box of wind up creative magic.
